Citat:V.P. Biden: “Katy, if you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun, have the shells of a 12-gauge shotgun, and I promise you, as I told my wife, we live in an area that’s wooded and somewhat secluded. I said, Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out, put that double-barrelled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house. I promise you who’s ever coming in is not [going to] — you don’t need an AR15. It’s harder to aim. It’s harder to use. And, in fact, you don’t need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”

Citat:As civil liberties are peeled away, government is presented with a final hurdle before control over the herd is complete: guns. Not their guns, but those 300 million guns in the hands of citizens. That just won't do. At some point, Joe Lunchbucket is going to wake up and not like what he sees out his front door and if he has an AR-15 with 1,000 rounds of ballistic ammunition, he can express his displeasure in a meaningful way. Joe's guns and millions of others clearly need to be collected and turned over to government. That is the clear intent. The only question is how.

Eden boljših quotov v bistvu bi lahko vse strani tega pobrisal in pustili samo tole. Posebej del o očitno edinem jeziku, ki so ga nekateri med nami še sposobni razumeti.

Students appear to be divided on the matter — some saying it would make them feel safer, and other saying the rifles are overkill.
“There’s some pretty crazy people out here, so that will help them keep us safe,” one student said.
“I’m not really a gun person and I don’t believe in violence, so I don’t think it’s a good idea,” another student disagreed.

Citat:Colt shuts plant, workers talk to Conn. lawmakers
Colt shuts down Conn. gun plant so workers can go to Conn. Capitol to oppose gun bills
By Susan Haigh, Associated Press | Associated Press – Fri, Mar 15, 2013

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- The president of one of the nation's oldest gun manufacturers closed down his Connecticut factory Thursday morning and bused 400 of his workers to the state Capitol so they could personally urge lawmakers not to pass gun control legislation that they say could risk their livelihoods.

Dennis Veilleux, president of the Hartford-based Colt's Manufacturing Co., said even though he has spoken with legislators and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's staff about his trepidations several times, he believes they don't truly understand the financial ramifications of the legislation being proposed in the wake of the deadly Dec. 14 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

State officials have listened to the concerns he and other Connecticut gun company officials have voiced, "but I would say it's more pacifying us," Veilleux said. That's why he decided to rent 10 buses and bring over his first shift workers, plus some second- and third-shift ones, and some suppliers.

"These are the faces of the jobs at Colt," Veilleux said in an interview with The Associated Press while riding on a bus back to the factory. "Each of these people represents other people in the state. They represent the community and, in a lot of cases, they're the breadwinners of their families. And more and more, manufacturing jobs are hard to come by."

Colt has been operating in Connecticut for the past 175 years.

The Colt workers packed the Legislative Office Building, many holding signs that read "Save Our Jobs," as legislative leaders continued to meet behind closed doors, trying to craft a bipartisan response to the school massacre. They're scheduled to meet again on Friday.

Meanwhile, members of the General Assembly's Public Safety and Security Committee heard testimony on numerous gun control bills, including a new gun offender registry, an expanded assault weapons ban, ammunition restrictions and a ban on bulk purchases of handguns.

Ron Pinciaro, executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence, defended the breadth of legislation.

"We feel that because of the enormity of the situation that happened on Dec. 14, that if we just put some Band-Aids on things, it's really not going to be enough," Pinciaro said. Twenty first-graders and six educators were killed at Sandy Hook. The shooter had also killed his mother before eventually committing suicide.

Eric Koenigs, a manufacturing engineer at Colt for the past nine years, has worked in the industry for 18 years. Even though Veilleux has not threatened to move Colt out of Connecticut, Koenigs said he is extremely concerned about the fate of his job if, for example, the state's current assault weapons ban is expanded.

"I never thought it would happen here," said Koenigs.

Connecticut is known as the "Arsenal of the Nation," a reputation first gained in the American Revolution. In the early 19th century, inventors Eli Whitney and Simeon North began making firearms in Connecticut with interchangeable parts, which is often recognized as the beginning of modern mass production.

Democratic members of a legislative subcommittee charged with reviewing gun laws recently recommended exempting Connecticut gun manufacturers from a proposed law expanding the definition of an assault weapon. Even though the weapons could not be purchased in the state, they could still be manufactured here.

Veilleux contends his company would still suffer, even though it currently doesn't sell many rifles in Connecticut.

"If we ban this product in the state where we make it, our customers will take their business to another brand," he said. "When we start to get erosion of our customers, we lose our market share."

There are numerous postings on Colt's Facebook page from gun advocates urging the company to move out of Connecticut, which they claim does not respect the constitutional right to bear arms. There also are postings from people urging Colt not to supply law enforcement with guns in New York, a state that recently enacted strong gun control initiatives.

Veilleux said gun customers are well-connected and know what is happening in different states in terms of gun control efforts.

"Our customers don't want to support the state of New York. So our customers aren't going to want to support the state of Connecticut," he said. "And our association is so strong with the state of Connecticut, that it's inevitable that it's going to begin to erode."

Ista jajca bodo poskusali spraviti skozi pod drugo preobleko - universal background check, national firearms registry itd.
Ce so sedaj AWB umaknili iz dnevnega reda, ne pomeni da ga ne morejo dati v obravnavo kadar se jim zahoce.

Citat: FPS RUSSIA Raided by 40+ ATF & FBI agents
A couple of days ago, the famous Youtube personality and gun enthusiast Kyle Myers (Old youtube channel FPS Kyle) now known as FPS RUSSIA, had his family property raided in the search for explosives and probably to get a look at his arsenal, despite Tennerite (the explosive he uses in his videos) being legal with the right papers which he does possess!
According to news on the web they left ''empty handed'' - A couple of month's ago Kyles best buddy Keith R. Ratkliff (RIP) was killed apparently execution style, Keith was the Executive Producer of the FPS RUSSIA Youtube Channel which Kyle is the main personality.
This has raised many theories and suspicions especially if you know what is currently happening in the USA now in terms of government crackdowns, new tyrannic laws implemented daily and extreme policing and control.

In his youtube channel FPS Russia is a gun lover reviewing various firearms for his viewers (The 3.9 Million Subscribers), not only firearms but even heavy weaponry such as 40mm Bofors Pom Pom guns from WW2 Era, Hellcat Tank Destroyer right through down to the humble .22LR.

All of the firearms he gets access to are legal and he does all of the shooting on his family owned private property in the State of Georgia USA, yes, he is actually a US Citizen just enacting a Russian personality for his show.
FPS Russia destroying a zombie with a Recoiless Rifle

Officially, the ATF regards FPSRussia as a commercial undertaking, because “he [Myers] was using explosives and getting paid for it via YouTube.” If Kyle Myers is doing business in explosives, the ATF believes he should have had obtained a federal explosives manufacturing license needed “to engage in the business of manufacturing explosives for sale, distribution or for their own business,” the ATF spokesperson explained.

No illegal explosives were found and no arrests were made, but considering the unprecedented arsenal stocked at one of the locations, the agents considered confiscating Myers’ weapons. “The idea at one of the locations was to take firearms, but they did not do that,” an ATF spokesperson said, according to Onlineathens.com.

Citat:ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- A U.S. Army veteran, who boasted on Facebook of his military adventures with Syrian rebels, was charged Thursday with firing rocket-propelled grenades as part of an attack led by an al-Qaida group against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Eric Harroun, 30, of Phoenix, was charged in U.S. District Court in Alexandria with conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction -- specifically, a rocket propelled grenade launcher -- outside the U.S.Harroun entered Turkey in November 2012, met with handlers from the Free Syrian Army, and then entered Syria in early January. After entering Syria, he was issued weapons by the Free Syrian Army, and within days, "engaged in a joint attack with the Al Nusrah Front on a Syrian army encampment."

"As part of the attack, vehicles bearing black flags transported al Nusrah fighters to locations near the camp," the affidavit said. The Nusrah and FSA fighters broke off the attack after about 20 minutes, and he "jumped into the back of an Al Nusrah Front truck, which took him to an Al Nusrah Front camp."

Harroun claimed he was "treated like a prisoner" but quickly gained the trust of the Al Nusrah Front fighters. He was then "assigned to a five-man fire team" and "accepted as a member of the group because he had proven himself in battle." He also served as a member of an RPG team (this would become the basis for the US government's charge of conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction).

Harroun admitted to fighting for the Al Nusrah Front "for approximately 25 days and ... he estimated that he had engaged in seven to ten battles" while with them. He also said that the fighters seen with him in the video titled "American Fighter' Vows Death to Assad" were members of the al Qaeda group, and he identified several of them.

Although Harroun was fighting for the Al Nusrah Front, he re-entered Turkey on Feb. 10 after a member of the Free Syrian Army requested that he go there to obtain weapons.

The Free Syrian Army and the Al Nusrah Front are known to have conducted several joint military operations in the past. The two groups have teamed up to overrun Syrian military bases and conduct other attacks. The Al Nusrah Front often takes command of the operations as their fighters are regarded as better in terms of organization, training, and leadership.

Despite that fact that the Free Syrian Army and the Al Nusrah Front conduct joint operations in Syria, the US government will begin to provide millions of dollars in aid to help Syrian rebel groups govern areas under their control. The money is being funneled to the Syrian Opposition Coalition and the Supreme Military Council "to provide concrete, nonlethal support to the Free Syrian Army," the US State Department announced on Feb. 28. The president of the Syrian Opposition Coalition opposes the US's designation of the Al Nusrah Front as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Citat:“Any national of the United States who, without lawful authority, uses, or threatens, attempts, or conspires to use, a weapon of mass destruction outside of the United States shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life, and if death results, shall be punished by death, or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life,” reads the law.
