Po kar nekaj čakanja sem dobil odgovor Evropske komisije. Kot kaže, je gonja proti polavtomatskemu orožju, predelanem iz avtomatskega orožja in orožju, ki po videzu spominja na avtomatsko orožje (B7) še vedno v teku...

On 18 November 2015, the Commission adopted a report on the application of the existing Directive 91/477. This report, prepared on the basis of three studies conducted by consultants, identified a number of problems raised by the existing directive. One of the problems is the misuse of certain semi-automatic firearms which can be notably transformed into automatic firearms and used by terrorists.

In this context, the Commission does not propose a ban of all semi-automatic firearms, but only as regards a limited proportion of these semi-automatic firearms which are the most dangerous. This only concerns ex automatic firearms which have been converted into semi-automatic firearms, and semi-automatic firearms which resemble weapons with automatic mechanisms.

The Commission does not propose any modification concerning the other types of semi-automatic firearms that citizens can acquire subject to authorisation. These other types of semi-automatic are in particular: semi-automatic or repeating short firearms, semi-automatic long firearms whose magazine and chamber can together hold more than three rounds, semi-automatic long firearms whose magazine and chamber cannot together hold more than three rounds, and repeating and semi-automatic long firearms with smooth-bore barrels not exceeding 60 cm length.
